Wie unschwer zu erkennen war, habe ich in diesem Blog in letzter Zeit kaum noch etwas gepostet. Dies geschah aus einem unbestimmten Gefühl heraus, welches welches seit längerem in mir brodelt.

Ich habe hier zwar ab und zu einmal politische Themen angesprochen, aber mobifoto war nie auch nur ansatzweise ein Blog mit ernsthaften Themen.

Ich möchte mich in Zukunft aus verschiedenen Gründen politisch äußern, erachte mobifoto aber als die falsche Plattform dafür.

Daher habe ich mich entschieden ein vornehmlich politisches Blog zu führen und hier nicht weiter aktiv zu sein.

Es ist erstaunlich wie Friedmanism immer genau bis zum Kollaps hält bevor dann alle bisherigen Hurra-Friedmanites plötzlich nach mehr Kontrolle und Regulierung schreien.

Auf die Krisen, die sie selber willentlich herbeiführen, ist immer “weitere Deregulierung” und “freierer Markt” die Antwort, die dann aber inhärent längerfristig in eine noch größere Krise führt, auf die aber dann “Kontrolle” und “staatliche Regulierung” die einzig mögliche Antwort ist.

Es wäre zum brüllen komisch, wenn es nicht so weh täte.

Der Watchlist Counter der ACLU nähert sich langsam aber sicher der Millionenmarke.

“In September 2007, the Inspector General of the Justice Department reported that the Terrorist Screening Center (the FBI-administered organization that consolidates terrorist watch list information in the United States) had over 700,000 names in its database as of April 2007 – and that the list was growing by an average of over 20,000 records per month.

At that rate, our list will have a million names on it by July. If there were really that many terrorists running around, we’d all be dead.”
